Particles sound environment with MC-buttons
During the last year, MotionComposer, that I have collaborated with for many years, introduced the so called Tasten or MC-Buttons; a tactile hardware sensor in the shape of a button that can sense touches and pushing. A nice feature is that it they also light up when they are touched, and that they can be configured to work together. While it’s possible to get only one, MotionComposer sell them as a package of six, and this really makes the most out of them.
During the summer and fall, I have been working to adapt the Particles sound environment to play these MC-buttons, and in November 2025 it was officially released. This little video demostrates some of the sounds one can get when playing with them. Here, one can also see how each Mc-button has a different function.
